Gentle is the Love
Gentle is the love
that flows
Down from Heaven
upon those
Who have chosen to
believe
And from sin have
sought reprieve
Softly does love permeate
our soul
Forgiving, cleansing
making whole
Bringing joy and
happiness
Thus does our beloved
Saviour bless
Uplifted is the way
we feel
Knowing that His
love is real
Ever with us through
the day
Being there to lead
our way
Praying, knowing prayers
are heard
Seeking, finding
wisdom in His Word
Waiting for the day
to come
He will return to
take us home
Gentle is the love
we know
Grateful that God
made it so
